1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of SwipeShrink: Photo Cleaner (“SwipeShrink” or “the app”). By downloading, accessing, or using SwipeShrink, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Purpose of the App
SwipeShrink provides tools for photo and video cleaning, organization, review, swipe-based selection, duplicate or similar-photo review, storage-use review, and photo compression. Results are intended to help you make decisions about your own media; they are not guarantees that a particular item is unnecessary, identical, or safe to delete.
3. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing selected items, confirming deletion choices, retaining backups where appropriate, and verifying important photos and videos before deleting them. You are also responsible for deciding whether a compressed output is acceptable before changing or removing an original.
4. Photo Deletion
Deletion may be destructive once you confirm it through Apple’s Photos mechanisms. SwipeShrink may help stage or review candidates, but you control the final action. Review all selections carefully before confirming. Apple Photos may provide a Recently Deleted mechanism in some circumstances, but SwipeShrink does not promise that deleted media can always be recovered.
5. Compression
Depending on the option you select and the source image, compression may reduce image dimensions, file size, image quality, or visible detail. Stronger settings may produce smaller files with a more noticeable quality reduction. Results and savings vary by image. Review the compressed output before removing an original.
6. Permissions
Core functions depend on your granting SwipeShrink appropriate access to Photos through iOS. Denied or limited permission may restrict features or produce incomplete results. SwipeShrink cannot bypass Apple’s permission or system-confirmation mechanisms.
7. No Guaranteed Storage Savings
Storage estimates and compression results depend on your library, selected media, device, and chosen settings. SwipeShrink does not guarantee any particular amount of recovered storage or compression savings.
8. Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that SwipeShrink will always be uninterrupted, compatible with every device or operating-system version, or free from errors.
9. Intellectual Property
The SwipeShrink name, app interface, original content, graphics, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you or grant rights beyond the limited right to use the app as intended.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not use SwipeShrink unlawfully; misuse the app to interfere with a device, system, or service; attempt to defeat security or access controls; distribute malicious code; or reverse engineer or circumvent the app except where such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
11. Disclaimers
SwipeShrink is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Detection, categorization, storage, and compression results may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you should independently review important decisions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, SwipeShrink, including losses related to deleted media, reduced image quality, device storage, or unavailable features.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded, and these Terms do not waive rights that applicable law requires you to retain.
13. Apple
Apple is not the developer of SwipeShrink. Your use of the iOS app may also be subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies. Mention of Apple, iOS, Photos, or PhotoKit does not imply Apple’s endorsement of SwipeShrink.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the app or applicable requirements. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to your later use, subject to rights provided by applicable law.
